RIPPLE the book now carries an ISBN in all four languages: the German edition's numbers have been issued — all eight, in one table
The ISBN agency of the National Széchényi Library of Hungary has issued the two ISBNs of the German edition of RIPPLE (PDF and print). With that, the Hungarian, English, Spanish and German editions each carry their own identifier. This note records the eight numbers and what an ISBN does — and does not — mean.

RIPPLE — an unofficial documentary study of Ripple and the XRP Ledger — is published in four languages: Hungarian, English, Spanish and German. The Hungarian, English and Spanish editions have carried ISBNs since early September; on 1 October 2026 the ISBN agency of the National Széchényi Library of Hungary issued the two numbers for the German edition. Every language edition now has its own identifier.
The eight numbers
| Language | PDF (digital) | Print edition |
|---|---|---|
| English | 978-615-83207-3-3 | 978-615-83207-2-6 |
| Hungarian | 978-615-83207-1-9 | 978-615-83207-0-2 |
| Spanish | 978-615-83207-5-7 | 978-615-83207-4-0 |
| German | 978-615-83207-7-1 | 978-615-83207-6-4 |
Each edition has two numbers — one for the digital (PDF) form and one for print — because an ISBN is assigned per format. The German PDF edition's imprint page (page 2) carries the line above, in the same form as the other three languages.
What an ISBN means — and what it does not
An ISBN is an international book identifier: it tells you which publisher, which title, which language version and which format. Libraries, distributors and catalogues use it to list a publication. An ISBN is not a quality rating, not a peer review, and does not mean that any authority or institution has checked the book's content. Publisher and responsible for the content: Data Analytic Investments Kft.
The book is unofficial: it is not affiliated with Ripple Labs, Inc., and was not commissioned by or produced with the company.
