What is the difference between the Free and Pro plans?

The Free plan gives you access to live market data, the Fear & Greed gauge, the public track record preview (10 rows), and all educational content. The Pro plan unlocks the full track record with CSV/JSON export, up to 20 custom price alerts, the full Indicator Tracker, priority data refresh, and access to the weekly market insight digest.

Is DAI regulated?

DAI operates under the MiCA (Markets in Crypto-Assets) regulatory framework. All content on the platform uses neutral, descriptive language — market observations, indicator readings, and price range data — rather than buy/sell recommendations. We are not a licensed investment adviser and do not provide personalised investment advice.

How do I cancel my Pro subscription?

Accepted Answer

You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time from your dashboard under Account Settings → Subscription. Your Pro access remains active until the end of your current billing period. We do not offer partial-period refunds, but you will not be charged again after cancellation.

Is my data secure?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We use industry-standard encryption for all data in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and never stored in plain text. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

What are "market observations" and how should I use them?

Accepted Answer

Market observations are data-driven summaries of current price action, indicator readings, and regime conditions for specific assets. They describe what the data shows — not what you should do. They are intended as one input in your own research process, not as trading instructions.

What does "accuracy rate" mean in the track record?

Accepted Answer

Accuracy rate refers to the percentage of closed market observations where price reached the first target level (Target Level 1) before hitting the key support level. It is a historical performance metric, not a guarantee of future results. Past accuracy does not predict future outcomes.

How often is the market data updated?

Accepted Answer

Live price data (watchlist, heatmap) is updated in near real-time via the Kraken API. RSI readings are recalculated every 5 minutes. The weekly market insight digest is published every Monday morning. Auto-insights are generated hourly during active market hours.

What is market regime detection?

Accepted Answer

Market regime detection is the process of classifying the current market environment — typically as trending (bullish or bearish) or ranging (sideways/consolidating). DAI uses a combination of momentum indicators, volatility measures, and on-chain data to assess the current regime. Different regimes call for different analytical approaches.

Why do you focus on XRP/BTC analysis?

XRP and BTC represent two distinct market dynamics — XRP is highly sensitive to regulatory developments and institutional adoption narratives, while BTC is the primary market benchmark. Together they provide a useful cross-section of the crypto market. We plan to expand coverage to additional assets as the platform grows.

How do custom price alerts work?

Accepted Answer

Custom alerts notify you by email when a specified asset crosses a price threshold you define. Free accounts can set up to 3 active alerts; Pro accounts can set up to 20. Alerts are checked every minute. You will receive a single notification when the condition is first met — the alert then deactivates until you reset it.

What is the Indicator Tracker?

The Indicator Tracker displays current readings for a curated set of technical and on-chain indicators across major crypto assets. It includes RSI, ATR, MVRV, NUPL, exchange netflow, and others. Each indicator includes a plain-language description of what the current reading suggests historically.

Can I export my data?

Accepted Answer

Pro subscribers can export the full track record as CSV or JSON from the Track Record page. Dashboard portfolio data can be exported from the Dashboard. We are working on additional export options for alert history and watchlist data.

Is there a mobile app?

Accepted Answer

DAI is a Progressive Web App (PWA). You can install it on your home screen from any modern browser — on iOS, tap the Share button and select "Add to Home Screen"; on Android, tap the browser menu and select "Install App". The installed version works offline for cached content and supports push notifications.

How do I connect my exchange account?

Accepted Answer

Exchange connections are available in the Dashboard under "Exchange Data". We support read-only API connections (no trading permissions required). Your API keys are encrypted at rest and never used for any purpose other than fetching your portfolio data.

What is the Market Risk Index (MRI)?

Accepted Answer

The Market Risk Index is a composite 0–100 score displayed at the top of your dashboard. It aggregates five independent indicators — Fear & Greed sentiment (30%), average RSI across 20 assets (25%), BTC volatility (20%), market regime classification (15%), and BTC/ETH 24h momentum (10%) — into a single risk reading. A score of 0–30 is Low, 31–55 Neutral, 56–75 Elevated, and 76–100 High. It is an observational tool, not a buy or sell signal.

Does a high MRI score mean I should sell?

Accepted Answer

No. The MRI describes current market conditions — it does not tell you what to do. A High zone reading means multiple indicators are showing elevated stress simultaneously, which historically has been associated with increased volatility and reduced risk/reward for new long positions. It is one input in your own analytical process, not a directive. DAI does not provide personalised investment advice.

Question 18

How often is the MRI updated?

The MRI is recalculated every time you load or refresh the dashboard (with a 5-minute server-side cache). A new snapshot is also saved to the database every hour, which builds the historical trend chart over time. The longer the platform has been running, the more historical context the 7-day and 30-day trend charts will show.

No. Everything published on DAS — market observations, analytics, news, and insights — is informational and educational content only. It is not personalized investment advice, and it is not a recommendation to take any specific action.
