What is Data Analytic Investments?

A Budapest-based market information and education provider. We continuously monitor 111 crypto assets, 8 equity indices, 7 FX pairs, gold and WTI, and show all of it on one screen. We also publish our own educational material in Hungarian and English.

Question 2

What is the difference between Market Observation and Market Observation Pro?

Accepted Answer

Market Observation includes live price data, the heatmap, research articles and all educational content. You can set 3 of your own price level alerts and download a 10-row data sample. Market Observation Pro raises this to 20 price level alerts, adds full data export in CSV and JSON, and browser notifications on the levels you watch.

Are you within the scope of MiCA?

Accepted Answer

No. MiCA lists ten crypto-asset services that require authorisation — custody, operating a trading platform, exchange for funds, exchange for other crypto-assets, execution of orders, reception and transmission of orders, placement, transfers, portfolio management and personalised advice. We provide none of them: we do not hold, exchange or move crypto-assets, and we do not manage portfolios.

Advice under the Regulation means a personalised recommendation that takes the individual client's circumstances into account. What we publish is identical for every visitor and is not tailored to anyone's situation — therefore it is not advice. We do not tell you what to buy or sell.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Accepted Answer

You can cancel at any time from your dashboard under Account Settings → Subscription. Your access remains active until the end of the current billing period, and you will not be charged again. Refunds and the right of withdrawal are governed by our Terms of Service and Withdrawal Notice.

Is my data secure?

Accepted Answer

Data travels over an encrypted connection, and passwords are stored only in an irreversible form — never as readable text. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

Question 6

What are "market observations" and how should I use them?

Accepted Answer

A market observation is a data-driven summary of current price action, indicator readings and market conditions for a given asset. It describes what the data shows — not what you should do. One input in your own research, not an instruction.

How often is the market data updated?

Accepted Answer

Live price data — watchlist and heatmap — updates continuously via the Kraken API. RSI readings are recalculated every five minutes. The weekly summary is published on Monday mornings, and the daily summary every morning at 07:00 Budapest time.

Question 8

What does market environment classification mean?

Accepted Answer

It is the practice of characterising the current state of a market — for example as trending or ranging. It is description, not forecast: the classification is built from past data, and is always clearer in hindsight than looking forward.

Which assets do you cover?

Crypto: BTC, ETH, XRP, SOL, BNB, ADA, AVAX and over a hundred more. Equity indices: S&P 500, NASDAQ, Dow Jones, FTSE 100, DAX 40, CAC 40, Nikkei 225, Hang Seng. Commodities: gold and WTI. FX: EUR/USD, GBP/USD, USD/JPY, USD/CHF, AUD/USD, USD/CAD, USD/CNH.

How do price level alerts work?

You choose the level, and we email you when price reaches it. Market Observation allows 3 active alerts, Pro allows 20. The system checks every minute. You receive a single notification the first time the condition is met; the alert then deactivates until you reset it.

What is the Indicator Tracker?

Accepted Answer

It shows current readings for a curated set of indicators across major crypto assets — RSI, ATR, MVRV, NUPL, exchange netflow and others. Each indicator comes with a plain-language description of what it measures.

Can I export my data?

Accepted Answer

Yes. With Pro you can download the full data series in CSV and JSON; Market Observation gives you a 10-row sample. Dashboard portfolio data can also be exported.

Is there a mobile app?

DAS is a Progressive Web App (PWA). You can add it to your home screen from any modern browser — on iOS via Share → "Add to Home Screen", on Android via the browser menu → "Install App". The installed version supports browser notifications.

Question 14

What is the Market Risk Index (MRI)?

Accepted Answer

A composite 0–100 reading at the top of your dashboard. It combines five independent components: our own sentiment calculation (30%), average RSI across 20 assets (25%), BTC volatility (20%), market environment classification (15%) and BTC/ETH 24-hour momentum (10%). 0–30 is Low, 31–55 Neutral, 56–75 Elevated, 76–100 High. It is an observational tool. It does not tell you what to do.

Does a high MRI reading mean I should sell?

Accepted Answer

No. The MRI describes current market conditions — it does not tell you what to do. A High band means several components are elevated at the same time. It is one input in your own consideration. Data Analytic Investments does not provide personalised investment advice.

Question 16

How often is the MRI updated?

Accepted Answer

It is recalculated on every dashboard load, with a five-minute server-side cache. An hourly snapshot is also stored, which builds the 7-day and 30-day trend charts.

Is the information on DAS investment advice?

Accepted Answer

No. Everything DAS publishes — market observations, analysis, news and summaries — is informational and educational content. It is not personalised investment advice, and it is not a recommendation to take any specific action. Any decision made on this basis, and its consequences, are the user's own responsibility.
